DYTERM® NMN, NM
DyTerm® is an insulation product resulting from the combination of Nomex® aramid paper and polyester film. The layers of Nomex are bonded to the polyester film with suitable adhesives. DyTerm® laminates are suitable for use in electrical equipment at the following operating temperatures:
- up to 155 ° C Class F: N2S type
- up to 180 ° C Class H: N1D, N2D, N3D, N3S types
- up to 200 ° C Class C: Kapton® bonded laminate
DyTerm® laminates are a highly efficient solution for insulating electric motors, transformers and electrical machines, at operating temperatures ranging from 155 - 180 and 200 °C.
In rotating machinery, DyTerm® is used as a groove gap closure, insulation and also for phase separation at winding heads. In transformers and electrical static equipment, DyTerm® is used as a pad of insulating material.
